Video: Young man throws rocks at his father's car after discovering him with a lover

A 19-year-old girl went viral on social media after being involved in a violent incident in Santa Marta, Colombia. She discovered her father inside a car accompanied by a woman who, she claimed, was not her mother.

This incident occurred in a public street, specifically on the busy Avenida del Libertador, and was captured on video by numerous witnesses.

The photographs capture the girl throwing rocks and hitting the vehicle with a motorcycle helmet, while demanding that her father and the woman get out of the car. She also used a rock to break the passenger-side windows and the windshield, while documenting the scene with her cell phone. She also damaged the side mirrors.

Witnesses reported that the father and his companion remained inside the car. The woman also filmed the girl from inside, further intensifying her anger. This episode sparked mixed opinions on social media. Some users supported the young woman, claiming that her behavior stemmed from the pain of witnessing a possible betrayal of her mother.

Phrases such as, "Infidelity also hurts children" or "It's not a jealousy scene, he's making his mother respect him" were shared countless times. On the other hand , some online users questioned the violent behavior: "No one has the right to damage other people's property" or "A relationship between a couple is one thing, and a relationship between parents and children is another."
