Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Reportedly Took a Major Step in Their Relationship
THE RUNDOWN
- A local Ohio outlet learned that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce looked at property while visiting Chagrin Falls, Ohio, last month.
- A source told Us Weekly back in January that Swift and Kelce were considering buying property together.
- Swift and Kelce have spent most of the year out of the spotlight, and the private time together has been transformative for their relationship.
Last month, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted on a lunch date in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. The couple did more than just sightsee in Kelce’s home state, though. Local outlet Cleveland Scene spoke to multiple sources who revealed that the couple “visited at least two opulent homes currently for sale in Northeast Ohio’s tony eastside suburbs.”
The news comes months after Us Weekly reported that Swift and Kelce were discussing purchasing property together. In late January, a source told the outlet that Swift was considering buying a house in Kansas City, Missouri, where Kelce is based during football season. He plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.
“When they have time, they want to look at real estate,” the source said then. “[They’ve] talked about exploring buying a home together.”
Swift and Kelce have been together for about two years. On July 1, a source told People that this year has been transformative for their relationship, particularly the spring and summer when the pair was off work and able to spend time together privately.
“It’s been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways,” the source said. “They’re incredibly happy and in sync. There’s a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that’s been really grounding for Taylor and Travis.”
Kelce recently went Instagram official with Swift, sharing personal photos of what they did together during his offseason. A source told People this move “was intentional. They’ve been private in their own way, but this was his way of showing how serious things have become.”
“They’re in a really solid place and more in sync than ever,” the source added.
