ANSES confirms increase in PNC: amounts, requirements, and special bonus

The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) announced a new increase in Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) , aimed at people without formal employment or pension coverage.
The update is calculated based on inflation and the Retirement Mobility Decree , which establishes automatic increases based on the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) .
The new amount includes a $70,000 bonus for those earning less than $396,304.88 . With this measure, ANSES seeks to guarantee stronger financial support for beneficiaries of the PNC for Disability, Old Age, and Mothers of 7 Children , ensuring that the benefits maintain their purchasing power.

ANSES reported that the updated PNC includes a 1.9% increase due to August inflation. The salaries are as follows:
In addition, those earning less than $396,304.88 will receive a pension bonus of $70,000 , bringing the final payments to $298,381.85 and $396,304.88, respectively.
Each type of pension has specific requirements:
- Disability Pension : Proof of disability of 66% or more, no pension or retirement benefits, and the ability to meet residency criteria based on age and nationality.
- Old Age Pension : Be over 70 years old, have no other pension income or sufficient assets, and meet the minimum years of residence in Argentina according to nationality.
- Pension for Mothers of 7 Children : Have seven or more children, not receive other pension benefits, and meet minimum residency requirements.
- Pension for people with HIV and/or Hepatitis B or C : Be over 18 years of age, have a diagnosis certified by the National Health Surveillance System, and do not exceed the family income limits.

To access the PNC, interested parties must present the required documentation based on their pension type. This includes medical reports, residency certificates, and proof of socioeconomic status.
The process can be completed in person at ANSES or through the agency's website, making it easier for people with reduced mobility or who live far from the offices.
It is important to note that failure to meet requirements , such as income above the established limit or lack of minimum residency, may result in the denial of the benefit.
Therefore, ANSES recommends checking each condition in advance and submitting all certificates correctly. The institution emphasizes that these pensions not only represent a monthly income, but also financial support for those facing social vulnerability or limitations.
