A Colombian coffee shop was chosen as the best in South America.

The World's 100 Best Coffee has just published its updated list of the best coffee shops in South America, and a Colombian coffee shop tops this prestigious ranking.

This is Tropicália Coffee , located in the city of Bogotá and which in the previous edition occupied tenth place worldwide.

In this new edition, 15 Colombian coffee shops entered the list.

In addition to Tropicália Coffee (1) there are also Pergamino Café Laureles (12), Caferatto Café Especial (13), Insignia Coffee (29), Café 18- El Chicó (35), Famosta Café (44), Libertario Coffee Roasters calle 70A (46), Azahar Café (48), Colo Coffee (58), Tipica Café Milla de Oro (62), María Julio Coffee Shop (70), Coffeesstylers (75), Laurino Coffee (83), 9 Gramos Café (85) and Varietale Chapinero (95).

This international ranking recognizes the quality of its coffee-based preparations.

It also highlights the barista's experience, technique, knowledge, and artistry in each cup of coffee served to the table.

Other considerations for inclusion on the list include customer service, design and ambiance, culinary offerings, and sustainability programs, among others.
