A mural by W. Dzieduszycki decorated the wall of a building on Stanisław Gajeckiego Street.

On the penultimate Sunday of June in Zarzecze, Przeworsk County, a mural with the image of Włodzimierz Dzieduszycki, placed on one of the local buildings, was unveiled to commemorate one of the most outstanding Polish social activists and patrons of culture of the 19th century, whose activities left an indelible mark on the history of Poland and the Subcarpathian region.
Włodzimierz Dzieduszycki was born on June 22, 1825, in Jaryszów, Podolia, and buried in Zarzecze, Przeworsk County. He became famous as a distinguished patron of science, a naturalist, folklorist, landowner, and politician, and founder of the Natural History Museum in Lviv. He was a man characterized by a tremendous passion for knowledge and commitment to the development of science, education, and culture in Galicia. Count Dzieduszycki was the first heir apparent in Poturzyca and Zarzecze. The former Dzieduszycki Palace in Zarzecze now houses a branch of the Museum in Jarosław. The Orsetti Tenement House – Dzieduszycki Museum in Zarzecze. By decision of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Assembly, 2025 is being celebrated in Podkarpacie as the Year of Włodzimierz Dzieduszycki, and the ceremony held in Zarzecze on June 22nd perfectly aligned with these commemorations.

It was created as a result of cooperation between the voivodeship self-government and the Dzieduszycki Family Association of the Sas coat of arms, the Dzieduszycki Museum in Zarzecze, the Orsetti Tenement House Museum in Jarosław, the Housing Cooperative in Zarzecze, the Zarzecze Commune and the Zarzecze Cultural Centre.
