Counterfeit stamps discovered in traveler's passports in Medyka and Przemyśl

On Saturday, July 12, at the border crossing in Medyka, a 56-year-old Ukrainian woman presented herself for inspection. She presented a document that caught the officers' attention.
It contained a Romanian border control stamp. It turned out to have an altered date of crossing the border. The woman was questioned as a witness, and her passport was seized as evidence. Two days later, a similar incident occurred in Przemyśl. A 45-year-old Ukrainian citizen presented herself for an exit check at the railway border crossing. Two forged Polish border control stamps were found in her passport. In this case, the woman voluntarily accepted a six-month prison sentence, suspended for two years.
