Late parents lose 800 plus for June

Parents who have not submitted an application for the 800+ benefit by the end of June 2025 will no longer receive the payment for that month. Parents of newborns are an exception, as they have three months to submit an application to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
Applications for the 800+ benefit can only be submitted electronically – via the mZUS app, the PUE/eZUS platform, the Emp@tia portal, or online banking. Thanks to the digitization of the process, applications are processed automatically without errors.
The new settlement period runs from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, and applications began being accepted on February 1. Over 348,000 applications have been submitted in Lower Silesia so far, and as many as 4.5 million nationwide.
Since 2022, the Family 500+ program, including the 800+ benefit, has been implemented by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), which disburses funds non-cash to parents' accounts. The benefit is available for every child up to 18 years of age, regardless of income.
As of June 2025, new rules apply to refugees from Ukraine: they can only receive the benefit for children attending a Polish school or preschool. Younger children do not have to meet this requirement.
