Today, 81 years after the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, anniversary ceremonies were held, including at the Przemyśl Eaglets Monument. A special moment was 5:00 PM, or "W" hour, when sirens sounded and the heroes were honored with a minute of silence.
Residents of Przemyśl paid tribute to the participants and victims of the Warsaw Uprising, while uniformed personnel honored their memory with a military parade. Representatives of the Przemyśl authorities and local government participated in the ceremony, including Deputy Mayor Bartłomiej Barszczak, Chairman of the City Council Marcin Kowalski, Members of Parliament Marek Rząsa and Andrzej Zapałowski, Deputy Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Piotr Pilch, Starosta of Przemyśl County Bożena Ryczan, as well as members of the uniformed services, veterans, and scouts.
