The city will support the hospital in purchasing a hybrid incubator

During the recent, heated session of the Przemyśl city council, which saw the adoption of emotional resolutions concerning education in Przemyśl, several items related to the city's finances also came up. Among them was one affecting healthcare: the amount of PLN 153,000 that the councilors decided to allocate as a targeted subsidy to the Przemyśl hospital.
The St. Padre Pio Provincial Hospital in Przemyśl has requested a grant from the Przemyśl Municipality to purchase a hybrid incubator and related equipment for the Neonatal Ward with a Neonatal Pathology Subunit. This modern equipment provides newborns with optimal thermoregulation while operating as both an open and closed incubator. It allows for the performance of various medical procedures, reducing the newborn's stress. Another advantage is the reduced risk of complications during procedures. Thanks to the combination of thermoregulation, appropriate lighting, and sound levels, it provides a safe and soothing environment for babies. Furthermore, it saves space and time during procedures.
The city, accepting the request, decided to seek funding for such a purchase for the hospital. As Treasurer Monika Czuryk announced at the meeting, the source of financing for this expense would be excess interest income. Councilors had no doubts about this decision. All those present at the meeting voted in favor.
