A banner symbolizes the identity and tradition of a given volunteer fire department and is also an important element during all celebrations and ceremonies. Possessing one strengthens the sense of community and unity among members of the fire brigade. It is a unique symbol that unites volunteer firefighters around common goals and missions, which is a constant willingness to help others. Recently, the volunteer firefighters from Torki in the Medyka commune also received their own banner. The ceremony, which marked the inauguration of the banner, began with a Holy Mass, during which the unit's new symbol was consecrated. Following the ceremony, a firefighter assembly, including the granting of the banner, took place in the square next to the Volunteer Fire Department station. The firefighters celebrated this solemn occasion in the presence of residents and invited guests, including Marek Rząsa, Member of Parliament, Bożena Ryczan, the Starosta of Przemyśl, and Magdalena Małachowska, Mayor of the Medyka commune.

On the occasion of the ceremony, the cadets from Torki were warmly congratulated, expressing their appreciation for their commitment to their duties and wishing them safe service and safe returns from action.
