Decyzję premiera o likwidacji funkcji ministra ds. równości skomentowała w środę organizacja Kampania Przeciw Homofobii. „W dzisiejszej rekonstrukcji rządu Donald Tusk nie tylko odwołał Katarzynę Kotulę, ale też całkowicie zlikwidował stanowisko Ministra_y ds. Równości. To jednoznaczny sygnał: równość nie jest już priorytetem tego rządu. A dla osób LGBT+, osób z niepełnosprawnościami, kobiet, mniejszości narodowych i religijnych – to po prostu zniknięcie z agendy władzy” – czytamy w komunikacie, zamieszczonym na stronie KPH.
Dziękując za pracę Kotuli i jej zespołowi, KPH przypomniała, że przewodziła ona pracom nad ustawą o związkach partnerskich, a dzięki wysiłkowi jej i jej współpracowniczek został opracowany projekt rządowy. Dodała, że ministra działała też w zakresie przeciwdziałania mowie nienawiści czy walki z dyskryminacją w szkołach.
Ministra Kotula podkreśliła, że z uznaniem przyjmuje słowa podziękowania organizacji za pracę w rządzie – „nawet jak te słowa czasem mają słodko-gorzki smak wynikający z decyzji takich, a nie innych”. Zaznaczyła, że kontakt z organizacjami, o który dbała wraz z zespołem, poskutkował dobrymi relacjami ze stroną społeczną.
Zasugerowała również, że pierwsze czytanie poselskiego projektu ustawy o związkach partnerskich, złożonego przez Lewicę do Sejmu w czerwcu, może odbyć się we wrześniu. Podkreśliła również, że prace nad rządowym projektem w tej sprawie trwają.
Projekty ustaw o związkach partnerskich zostały opublikowane na stronach Rządowego Centrum Legislacji w październiku ubiegłego roku. Zakładają wprowadzenie zmian w ponad 200 obowiązujących obecnie ustawach. Osoby, które zawrą związek partnerski – zarówno tej samej, jak i różnej płci – będą mogły przyjąć wspólne nazwisko, rozliczać się razem w urzędzie skarbowym, zyskają także prawo do informacji medycznej na swój temat, dziedziczenia po sobie i pochówku partnera lub partnerki. W toku konsultacji społecznych i uzgodnień międzyresortowych do projektów zgłoszono ponad 6 tys. uwag.
Podczas posiedzenia Stałego Komitetu Rady Ministrów 30 kwietnia swoje uwagi złożyło m.in. Ministerstwo Finansów. Zakwestionowało ono szacunki finansowe uwzględnione w Ocenie Skutków Regulacji. (PAP)
