Polish company focuses on offshore wind and nuclear energy

Polish company focuses on offshore wind and nuclear energy
  • The Group focuses on three directions of development: offshore wind energy, nuclear energy and smart maritime solutions.
  • As much as 70 percent of the Baltic Industrial Group's revenues in the coming years are to come from the offshore wind energy sector.
  • Two Group companies were qualified by Westinghouse for the list of six Polish potential suppliers for the construction of the first Polish nuclear power plant.

The new development strategy of the Grupa Przemysłowa Baltic capital group for 2025-2025 has been approved by the Industrial Development Agency and is a continuation of the transformation plan of GP Baltic towards a modern industry of the future.

Three pillars, but offshore wind energy is the most important

- A new strategy is a milestone in every company. Our strategy is built in such a way that it not only shows what we want to do, but also how we want to achieve our business goals. At the same time, we are strengthening the integration of our companies and building modern management standards . We are introducing uniform corporate governance principles and transparent decision-making processes, thanks to which we can more effectively optimize our activities and strive to increase the value of the entire group - both for the owner and our partners - emphasizes Adam Kowalski, president of the Baltic Industrial Group.

The strategy assumes that as much as 70 percent of the Group's revenues in the coming years will come from the offshore wind energy sector. The company is focusing on significantly strengthening its competences and developing its own product offer.

- We want and will deliver end products , not just structures - announce company representatives.

The Baltic Industrial Group aims to become a Tier-1 company, i.e. a direct industrial partner for investors , going beyond the role of a subcontractor.

The plan is to participate in the construction of a nuclear power plant

- The Baltic Industrial Group fits perfectly into the assumptions of the Polish Offshore Wind Farm Industry Development Strategy, constituting a systemic asset of the State Treasury ready to implement its key elements. The strategy focuses on the development of competences, investments in modern infrastructure and building export potential - exactly where domestic competitive advantages are needed today - noted Maciej Mierzwiński, president of CEE Energy Group.

The Baltic Group is focusing on clear diversification of its business lines, including intensive preparations to participate in the developing nuclear energy sector.

Two Group companies – Baltic Operator and Energomontaż-Północ Gdynia – have already been shortlisted for the list of six potential Polish suppliers for the nuclear project implemented by Westinghouse Electric Company. The Group has also started the process of implementing the ASME NQA-1 nuclear quality standards.

- Companies from the ARP portfolio in Pomerania are two major assets that are starting to play a key role in the Polish energy transformation. We, as the owner, support the activities of the Baltic Industrial Group and Baltic Tower in this process - adds Ilona Deręgowska, vice-president of the Industrial Development Agency.
