Take note of what you can do this weekend in Coimbra

Dado Book Fair brings together (only) political books
House of Culture
From 2:30pm to 6:00pm
After more than eight years of Dado Book Fairs, and in continuation of the celebrations of the 51st anniversary of the 25th of April, Casa da Esquina will hold a Dado Book Fair exclusively for political books. It will be a Dado Book Fair with the same rules, but exclusively with books dedicated to this theme. The aim is to revive the spirit of freedom of expression and political discussion. The selection and screening will be carried out on site by Casa da Esquina. The fair will also feature a special appearance by the Duques do Precariado at 5:00 p.m., an “interregional group” of friends with various formations who will play songs from the Republic of the Precariado. Pedro Mendonça (vocals and guitar) and João Neves (vocals, bass guitar and braguesa) will be the distinguished guests. To visit and participate today, between 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., in the old cafeteria of the Municipal House of Culture. Entry is free and, as always, you only need to bring books to exchange.
