Al Guitar Duo opens the Sunset Secrets season at Silves Castle

Silves Castle is once again the stage for Sunset Secrets, an event that promises, once again, to fill summer evenings with quality music, regional flavors and memorable moments.
The opening of the season, scheduled for Thursday, June 26, will be hosted by Al Guitar Duo, a project by André Ramos and Luís Fialho, who will bring the harmony of acoustic guitars to the castle, with original themes inspired by Latin music, jazz and fado, in a unique setting marked by the sunset over the landmark of the city of Silves.
The event will run through the late afternoons of July 3, 10, 17 and 31, with an eclectic and engaging program:
July 3rd – Budda Guedes & Vítor Bacalhau; July 10 – Teresa Viola and Pedro Viola; July 17th – SENZA;
July 31 – Sofia Moreira Quartet.
«Sunset Secrets stands out as a unique initiative in the region, combining local gastronomy, with special emphasis on Silves Oranges and Silves Wines, with relaxing massages, live music, dancing and a fire show, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere», points out Silves City Council .
With an associated cost of five euros for the general public, entrance tickets for the Sunset Secrets sessions are now on sale, on the BOL platform, at the Municipal Archaeology Museum, at the usual locations (such as FNAC, Worten, El Corte Inglés, CTT Correios, Youth Hostels, Serveasy Kiosks, among others) and, on the day itself, at Silves Castle.
Residents of the municipality of Silves benefit from entry at a special price of two euros, and must purchase their ticket on site, on the day of the event from 6 pm onwards, or in advance at the Municipal Archaeology Museum, during its opening hours (upon presentation of proof of residence).
The municipality of Silves «invites everyone to be part of this vibrant and inspiring experience, which celebrates the culture, flavors and energy of summer in the idyllic setting of Silves Castle».
