S&P 500, Nasdaq advance to new all-time highs

Investor optimism following the ceasefire between Iran and Israel has reinforced the upward momentum of markets in recent weeks. In the United States, two of the main indices, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq, reached new all-time highs. Meanwhile, in Europe, markets also performed positively, with the PSI in particular standing out, rising to 11-year highs.
In the US, Tesla reported delivering 384,122 vehicles in the second quarter, down 13.5% from 443,956 in the same period a year earlier. Deliveries also fell short of the 394,378 units estimated by analysts. KKR won the bid for UK-based Spectris, submitting a £4.7 billion takeover bid, including debt. The offer is 6.3% higher than Advent's rival bid, which valued the company at £4.4 billion. Shares in Tesla and KKR rose 5% and 1.5%, respectively, on Wednesday after the news broke.
