In an interview with Metrópoles, Acir Filló recounted a striking episode he heard directly from Cristian Cravinhos , one of the perpetrators of the crime and Suzane's former brother-in-law. According to the author, Cristian described the day he tried to approach Suzane in prison and ask for forgiveness for participating in the murder of her parents.
"He told me that he bought white flowers to give to her, in an attempt to make amends. He thought she would be sad, remorseful," he told the news portal. The gesture, however, had an unexpected and brutal outcome.
