Former deputy João Barreiras Duarte has died

Former Social Democratic MP João Carlos Barreiras Duarte passed away this Friday, the 15th, at the age of 60. The information was revealed by the Municipality of Bombarral, where he was born.

João Carlos Barreiras Duarte was born on October 22, 1964 and was a deputy in four legislatures and a national advisor for the PSD. He was also a primary and secondary school teacher and a member of the Civic Association A Diferença, of the board of directors of the Hospital Inglês and of the Supervisory Board of the Hospital Lusíadas.
Graduated in Psychology, he was also a manager, consultant and member of the Nascer do Sol (Joker) betting panel.
He was the brother of Feliciano José Barreiras Duarte who, among other positions, was a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic (PSD) and Assistant Secretary of State to the Deputy Minister and Parliamentary Affairs.
