Croatian President: What 30 thousand peacekeepers, where do they even exist?

The deployment of a large Western peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine is impossible without Russia's consent. This was stated by Croatian President Zoran Milanovic following a meeting in Ljubljana with his Slovenian counterpart Natasa Pirc-Musar.
"What 30 thousand peacekeepers, where do they even exist? Let's imagine that Russia agrees to this, but it won't, and this is already becoming a mortal danger for those who have to go there," Milanovic's office quotes him as saying.
As the Croatian President noted, even if security and political conditions allowed for the deployment of peacekeepers, it would not be possible to assemble such a number of personnel.
