As the victim told the court, after the quarrel she left her cohabitant, but he repeatedly called her and came to make peace. The woman went to the police, where the persistent cohabitant was officially forbidden to approach her, having been issued a protective order.
On December 31 last year, the Pavlodar resident discovered that the front door of her apartment had been painted over, and there were signs of arson below. A check of the CCTV camera above the door in the entryway showed that her cohabitant had visited there.
The man fully admitted his guilt in the committed offense and repented. In court, he stated that he wanted to joke about his former partner. He also promised to compensate for the damage and make amends for the harm caused.
The Specialized Interdistrict Court for Administrative Offenses of Pavlodar found the citizen guilty of petty hooliganism and imposed an administrative fine of 78,640 tenge on him. The court ruling has entered into legal force.
