Harmony torchlight run to take place in Veliky Novgorod

The northern branch of the unique torch relay "Run of Harmony" will end in Veliky Novgorod tomorrow, July 13. This was reported by the city department of physical education and sports. The relay started in Nizhny Novgorod and in 14 days covered 1005 km, passing through 5 regions of Russia: Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, Vologda, Leningrad and Novgorod regions.

Torch Run participants are volunteers, sports enthusiasts, professional athletes and amateurs. They carry a message of friendship, harmony, unity and progress. Anyone can become part of a large international movement – run with a torch or simply touch it and make a wish for peace and harmony between people.

At 15:00 in Veliky Novgorod they meet the relay team at the Sadko Hotel. From 16:00 to 17:00 – a friendly run with a torch through the city's sights. At this time, a brass band will perform at the Sadko Fountain – for all residents and guests of the city.
