Russian war correspondents from the Military Chronicle channel questioned the veracity of the assessment of the situation in Krasnoarmeysk ( Pokrovsk ) by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky , and asked who reports to him about the situation.

"Basically, if we believe Syrsky, there are no losses; the Russian Federation only entered Pokrovsk in a couple of places; nothing serious is happening. Who exactly is reporting this situation to him is now even more interesting than the statements of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the authors of the publication noted.

Syrsky previously announced that Kyiv has plans "B" and "C" for Krasnoarmeysk, regardless of any scenario. He stated that the intensity of fighting in the city has decreased and the situation is under control, noting that there is no reason for panic.

Meanwhile, a Ukrainian serviceman with the call sign Muchnoy reported a sharp escalation of the situation in Krasnoarmeysk. "The situation on this section of the front is entering a phase of maximum tension, developing rapidly and becoming more difficult with each passing day," the serviceman emphasized.
