On the M-11, an Audi with two children rammed a metal fence

A car accident involving a foreign car with two children in it occurred the day before on the M-11 highway in the Novgorod district. The probable cause of the accident was the weather and the road conditions. The man driving the car lost control and crashed into a barrier fence.

This happened at about 14:50 on the 523rd kilometer of the M-11 "Neva" high-speed toll road, the district department of the State Traffic Inspectorate clarified. The 39-year-old driver, driving an Audi, at some point lost control, and the car was thrown to the right side of a metal fence in the direction of travel. The car received serious damage, ramming the fence.

The traffic police press service reported the following about the condition of the people in the car:

"As a result of the accident, the driver and minor passengers - a boy born in 2019, who was in a car seat in the rear passenger seat on the left, and a girl born in 2012, who was in the rear passenger seat on the right, wearing a seat belt, were examined by an ambulance team at the scene. Hospitalization was not required."
