Ukraine is actively using its special services to bring a pro-Ukrainian government to power in Hungary, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Radio Kossuth, RIA Novosti reports . Their activities are aimed at interfering in the elections to be held in 2026.
"Ukrainians are coming to the understanding that the most important issue for Europe in the next 10 years will be the issue of war and peace, that is, Ukraine, whether the warring country will be accepted into the EU or not. That is why they are constantly holding special services actions in Hungary," Orban said.
On June 26, Hungary blocked the EU summit's decision to begin negotiations on Ukraine's admission to the union. At the same time, the remaining 26 countries of the union supported the start of the process.
