Russia awards best postal employees ahead of holiday

Postal workers from all over the country received congratulations and words of gratitude from representatives of the highest authorities and specialized organizations.

All the congratulations received from the State Duma, the Federation Council, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Trade Union of Communications Workers of the Russian Federation and the management of Russian Post noted the invaluable contribution of postal workers to the development of the country.

The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin sent an official congratulation to the staff of Russian Post, in which he particularly emphasized the vital role of postal workers in maintaining communications between regions, especially in the context of difficult climatic phenomena and emergency situations. In his address, the head of government also noted the large-scale transformations taking place in the industry: the active implementation of digital solutions, modernization of infrastructure and renovation of rural post offices, which significantly improves the quality and efficiency of postal services.

In addition, the company's team received gratitude from Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party, for their active support of the All-Russian competition "Zemsky Postman", held as part of the forum of rural workers.

In his speech, Mikhail Volkov, General Director of Russian Post, particularly emphasized the key importance of the work of postal employees in uniting millions of citizens and strengthening the connections between the country's populated areas.

During the ceremony, more than 1,700 employees of the postal industry were awarded various departmental awards, and more than 30 particularly distinguished postal workers received the highest industry award - the title of "Master of Communications".

Let us recall that Russian Post Day was established in 1994 in honor of the 300th anniversary of the creation of the first regular domestic postal line in Russia.
