GENICHESK, July 12 - RIA Novosti. The Ukrainian army carried out 72 artillery strikes on populated areas on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region over the course of 24 hours; 11 populated areas in the region were subjected to strikes, emergency services told journalists. "During daylight hours, the Ukrainian army carried out 44 strikes from barrel artillery on populated areas on the left bank. Another 28 shellings by the Kyiv regime militants occurred at night. In total, 11 populated areas in the region came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the day," an emergency services representative reported. The following areas were subjected to shelling by the Ukrainian army: Novaya Kakhovka, Velyka Lepetikha, Gornostayevka, Kairy, Rozdolnoye, Aleshky, Dnepryany, Kakhovka, Peschanovka, Korsunka, Novaya Zburyevka.
