The disease began to recede

In the region, the treatment rate for patients with drug sensitivity was 93.1 percent, - said Baytolla Gazizov.
He noted that for 10 years now, by decision of the local maslikhat, patients receiving outpatient treatment have been paid social assistance in the amount of 10 monthly calculation indices. Last year, 764 residents received it.
“Over the past ten years, the incidence of tuberculosis in the region has decreased by 1.7 times, and mortality by 2.6 times,” concluded Gazizov.
