Ukraine agrees to sign deal with US on mineral resource development — FT

Ukraine has agreed with the US administration on the terms of a minerals agreement after they dropped a demand that Ukraine contribute about $500 billion to an investment fund, the Financial Times (FT) reported, citing the final version of the agreement.

The document, dated February 24 and obtained by the newspaper, does not mention security guarantees for Ukraine, which were one of the conditions for the deal from Kyiv.
