Oleg Zubkov, director of the Crimean safari park "Taigan", commented on the future of the lion that tried to kill him on June 22. He explained his position in a video message for the Telegram channel of the zoological facility.

According to the head of Taigan , he does not intend to kill the representative of the big cats, despite its aggression.

Oleg Zubkov added that he will not return to work during the completion of his rehabilitation, because for now his team of assistants is handling his duties.

However, during his address he also noted that he would again interact with lions and other animals in the park. Oleg Zubkov emphasized that he would "remain himself."
