In total, there are currently around 200 projects in progress to replace foreign software with Russian developments.
The Russian government has defined a list of key projects to replace foreign software with domestic analogues. They will be under special control. This was discussed at a meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Head of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko with the heads of industrial competence centers (ICC) within the framework of the CIPR-2025 conference, Interfax reports.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, these projects, which are of strategic importance for the country’s technological independence, especially in industry and the military-industrial complex, have been given the status of “flagship”.
These include, in particular, a unified information environment for managing the product life cycle, developed by order of Roscosmos.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, another initiative is an information system for the production of aircraft equipment, created by order of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). It will allow the transfer of control over all stages of the product life cycle to "digital" and increase the efficiency of experimental design work.
In total, the ICC is currently working on about 200 projects to replace foreign software with Russian developments. They are being implemented both with government grant support and through the developer companies' own investments.
