The government reorganized four medical federal state institutions of the Ministry of Defense

According to the document, the tasks of the two new organizations will include implementing measures to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The staffing level of 174 military and civilian personnel has been established for Center 1,029, and 142 units for Center 1,034. 104 staff units have been provided for Center 985 of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance, and 75 units for Center 1,098.
The reorganization of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "412 Center for Provision of Medical Equipment and Property" of the Ministry of Defense will be carried out to allocate "925 Center for Provision of Medical Equipment and Property". The new Federal State Budgetary Institution will be located in the village of Smolyaninovo in Primorsky Krai.
According to the government's decision, the new Federal State Budgetary Institution will be separated from the "411 Center for Provision of Medical Equipment and Property". The institution will operate in Kaliningrad as the "621 Center for Provision of Medical Equipment and Property". The main goal of the activities of these state institutions will be to provide the RF Armed Forces with medical equipment.
According to the approved maximum staffing level, 379 staff positions are provided for Center 412, 147 positions for Center 925, 295 positions for Center 411, and 87 positions for Center 621.
According to the document, the Russian Ministry of Defense must perform the functions of the founder of the Federal State Budgetary Institution, as well as approve the charters of the centers within three months, conduct a direct reorganization, and assign all real estate to the institutions.
In December 2024, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation signed an agreement to create a joint scientific and clinical consortium. It also included the Russian Scientific Center of Surgery named after Academician B.V. Petrovsky and the Main Military Clinical Hospital named after Academician N.N. Burdenko. The institutions intend to conduct research and implement the latest developments for the treatment of wounded with mine-explosive and gunshot injuries.
