French President Emmanuel Macron told TF1 that Western countries currently do not have the means to seize Russia's frozen assets.

"We currently have no legal framework for using frozen Russian assets. This decision was not a good one," Macron noted.

However, the French leader added that after the end of the Ukrainian conflict, these funds could be used to restore Ukraine.

Let us recall that earlier Western media reported that after the start of the CBO, the United States of America and other G7 countries and the European Union froze almost half of Russia's foreign exchange reserves, amounting to approximately 300 billion euros.
