The office said that preparations for the prisoners were underway at the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, adding that “the prisoners are expected to arrive between 22:00 and 00:00 local time.”
Hamas to hand over bodies of 4 prisoners to Israel tonight
In a statement made by Hamas, it was announced that the bodies of the prisoners Itzahi Eidan, Itzik Al-Jarit, Ohad Yehlomi and Shlomo Mansour will be delivered to Israel tonight.
Israel did not release the prisoners
Hamas released six more Israeli prisoners on February 22, in the final stages of the ceasefire agreement with Israel, while Israel had not fulfilled its commitment to release 620 Palestinian prisoners. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced in a statement that the release of the Palestinian prisoners had been postponed, citing "Hamas' humiliating ceremonies for prisoners" and "using prisoners for propaganda purposes" as the reasons.
