Weekly market summary for investors: Stock, gold and foreign exchange prices

After seeing a low of 10,481.53 points and a high of 10,774.91 points, the BIST 100 index closed the week at 10,746.98 points , 0.98 percent above the previous week's closing level .

The selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 0.38 percent this week to 4,376.39 liras, while the selling price of Republic gold increased by 0.38 percent to 29,572 liras .

The selling price of quarter gold, which was 7,302 lira last weekend, increased by 0.39 percent to 7,330 lira.

This week, the US dollar increased by 0.27 percent to 40.6650 lira , while the euro decreased by 1.01 percent to 47.1050 lira .

Mutual funds gained 0.68 percent and pension funds gained 0.43 percent this week .

When looked at by category , the most profitable among investment funds were "stock" funds with 2.58 percent .
