CHP leader's 12-year-old son dies

CHP Deputy Chairman Gökan Zeybek announced the death of Ege Başar, the 12-year-old son of CHP Manavgat District Chairman Oykun Başar. Zeybek's social media post included the following:

Our hearts and prayers are with you in this indescribable pain... I learned with deep sorrow that Ege, the precious son of our Manavgat District President Oykun Başar, passed away in the hospital where he was receiving treatment following heart surgery. I pray that God will have mercy on our son, Ege, whom we lost at only 12 years old, and that his family will have patience and strength. May he rest in peace.
