Google has added a "loved sources" section

Google is rolling out a new feature called “Preferred Sources” in the US and India .
This feature allows users to choose which news sites and blogs they want to see in the “Featured News” section of Google search results.
According to the company, enabling this feature will allow you to see more content from your favorite sites.
HOW WILL IT WORK?When users search for a specific topic, they'll see a star icon next to the "Featured News" section. By tapping this icon, they can start searching and adding sources.
Once sources are selected, the results will refresh to show more content from the selected sources.
Google notes that for some searches, a separate section called “From Your Sources” will also appear under the “Featured Stories” section.
ECHO CHAMBER RISKBut while this feature allows users to access information from their favorite sources, it can also prevent them from seeing different perspectives. Some experts worry about creating a situation where users are trapped in "echo chambers."
Google initially offered this feature as an experimental feature within its "Search Labs," requiring users to opt in. During the testing phase, more than half of users selected four or more sources.
The company is now rolling out the feature to all users searching in English in the US and India. It's unclear when it will be available to the rest of the world.
