Swimming in the sea in Istanbul's Beykoz district was banned for four days due to high waves.
According to the announcement by the Beykoz District Governorship, swimming is prohibited on the coasts, beaches and bays of the district on the Black Sea coast on August 14-15-16-17.
In a statement made on the District Governorship’s account on the X social media platform, it was stated, “Swimming in the sea is prohibited today, tomorrow, and on August 16 and 17, in accordance with the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442, on the shores, beaches and bays on the Black Sea within the borders of our district, Beykoz, due to the high wave length.”
