3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

3 songs from London Morning to boost your playlist

London Morning's associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role, picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that's about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.

The Pairs - Past My Prime

The Pairs' new album Together on a Rock comes out in a few weeks, and the latest single Past My Prime is a warm and cozy song that will make a great day starter. Past My Prime is a sparse mix of three-part vocal harmonies and subtle strings that delivers a soothing sound, making this a good song to put on when it's time to relax.

Taylor Holden - Peach Pit

Taylor Holden's latest album Cherry Bomb is full of amazing bangers. Peach Pit is one of London Morning's favourite songs from the new one. Although we're into Fall now the weather this weekend will feel more like mid-Summer and Peach Pit is a great song to help wring out that last few drops of Summer fun. Try Peach Pit on your next party mix or when you need some serious motivation.

Upside Of Maybe - Boys from the North

Stratford's Upside Of Maybe is walking pretty tall after winning three awards at the Red Carpet music awards in Holland. Their latest album, Sinners and Saints, is a great body of work that shows off the band's range. The lead track Boys from the North is a foot-stompin' jam that will delight and invigorate your senses. Boys from the North is a great tune for your next party mix or when you want a mood lifter.
