4 killed in multi-vehicle crash near London, Ontario Provincial Police say

Four people are dead after a multi-vehicle crash near London, police said.

Emergency crews responded around 4:30 p.m. Friday to the scene of a crash northeast of London between a transport truck and two SUVs, Ontario Provincial Police said.

Sgt. Ed Sanchuk said the collision took place at the intersection of Thorndale Road and Cobble Hills Road.

He said four people inside one of the SUVs died at the scene.

A fifth passenger with serious life-threatening injuries was airlifted to hospital.

Sanchuk says the driver and passenger of the second SUV and the truck driver all had minor injuries.
