Fans rush to support Strictly Come Dancing star after poignant update

Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova has expressed her heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming support she's received after making a major announcement.
The Slovenian Ballroom and Latin Champion, who became part of the beloved dance programme in 2017, boasts two Guinness World Records for the most dance steps in 30 seconds - accomplished during the Strictly spin-off It Takes Two's Pro Challenge for fleckerls in 2020 and pat-a-cakes in 2021.
Nadiya has made her comeback to the BBC One dance competition, joining the professional lineup for the 2025 series, alongside Dianne Buswell, Vito Coppola, and former romantic partner Kai Widdrington.
This series she has been paired with England rugby legend, Chris Robshaw.
However, before she returned to the ballroom floor for her ninth series, Nadiya revealed some thrilling news with her followers, reports Wales Online.
The professional dancer disclosed she had been nominated for two awards at the National Reality TV Awards, reports Devon Live.
Expressing her delight on Instagram, Nadiya wrote: "Two nominations at this year's @nationalrealitytvawards."
She added: "Best Female Personality and Reality Personality of the Year - what a dream! From the dance floor to your screens, it's been such a joy to share this journey with you.
"Thank you for every message, every vote, every bit of love. Your support means more than you know."
Fans rushed to social media to champion her.
