Travis Kelce Wore This $138 Polo to Propose to Taylor Swift
In case you haven't heard, Travis Kelce (the most inescapable man in America) just popped the question. The Internet is buzzing over his upcoming nuptials to Taylor Swift, but we're just thinking about his outfit. Kansas City's superstar tight end (we're not sure we'd give him GOAT status, but argue about the stats if you want) got down on one knee while donning simple shorts, suede loafers, and a knitted Ralph Lauren polo. It's the perfect all-American fit to wear while proposing to one of the greatest pop stars... That's another GOAT conversation we're not getting into.
It seems the couple must have coordinated, because it was quickly noticed that both Swift and Kelce are wearing Polo Ralph Lauren. Swift wore a striped white dress, Kelce the cable-knit cotton polo. Chances are an NFL tight end is pulling it in a big-and-tall offering, but we can't actually confirm that much.
Is America's current royal couple getting engaged in Ralph Lauren too on the nose? Not for us. That's just good marketing, and it helps that Kelce has a track record of nailing summer dressing. The look is casual, all-American, and worthy of the occasion. Hats off to him, and congrats to the lovely couple. Once this media storm blows over, we will get back in our trenches either with or against Kelce and Mahomes, but for now let's all keep it cordial.
