Chocolate Meets… Wine, Fine Dining, and a View of the Colosseum
On Monday, July 21, 2025 , from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the evocative Rooftop Le Terrazze al Colosseo , inside the prestigious Room Mate Hotel Mia Collection at Via Capo d'Africa 54, will host the event " Chocolate Meets... " , a multisensory experience where chocolate will take center stage, boldly and creatively paired with gourmet dishes and select wines. An unforgettable evening that is poised to conquer the most curious and refined palates.
A journey through regions, flavors, and gastronomic challengesThe initiative was born from an idea by executive chef Daniele Marzella , who developed an exclusive menu in which Domori chocolates , enhanced by excellent gelato makers from central Italy, meet culinary tradition and experimentation. Guiding participants on this journey will be Matteo Melini , Domori Area Manager, and the sommeliers of the ARS (Roman Sommelier Association) . All under the supervision of Nosilence Eventi , which manages the events area of the prestigious location.
The tasting menu offers:
- Beef tartare with truffle and sprouts;
- Pumpkin risotto, saffron, beef reduction and amaretti biscuits;
- Beef cheek in red wine;
- Cheesecake, namelaka with raspberry jelly and spicy chocolate.
The dishes will be accompanied by wine selections from the Dosio (Langhe Doc Nebbiolo) and Giuliani (Passito Primitivo) wineries, in a perfect play of contrasts and harmonies.
Master Ice Cream Makers and Signature ChocolateEach course will be enhanced by artisanal chocolates from the best ice cream makers in central Italy:
- Simona Papagno (Lazio) - Criollo Canoabo 62%;
- Mario Feliciani (Abruzzo) - Arriba;
- Alessandro Crispini (Umbria) - Apurimac 72%;
- Gabriele Manzi (Tuscany) - Sur del Lago.
A real challenge at the heart of the evening will be to combine ingredients deemed "unmatchable", with surprising results that will stimulate taste and curiosity.
