Tel Aviv, relatives of hostages demonstrate for ceasefire

(LaPresse) Relatives and supporters gathered Saturday for the weekly demonstration in Tel Aviv, calling for a ceasefire and an agreement to return all remaining hostages . Former hostage Eli Sharabi, whose brother is still held captive, addressed the crowd and asked US President Donald Trump to help him release those still held. Hamas-led militants killed approximately 1,200 people in the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel that triggered the war and kidnapped 251 others. Hamas is still holding approximately 50 hostages, of whom at least 20 are believed to be alive.
