The group includes 13 women and 2 minors claiming to be from Gambia, Ghana, Niger, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Togo. Late yesterday evening, the military personnel of the coast guard patrol boat CP 312 took care of a medical evacuation of 6 migrants, including 3 women and 2 minors from Ghana and Nigeria, who were ill. After saving the group, the NGO volunteers immediately noticed, and launched an SOS, that the six had burns and were debilitated. The migrants who arrived at the Favarolo dock after midnight were taken to the outpatient clinic.

The transfer of 166 migrants, who disembarked in recent days, is underway to the port where they will be embarked on the scheduled ferry that will arrive in Porto Empedocle in the evening.
