Julio César Chávez announces he will visit the judges who disqualified his daughter from MasterChef.

Gloves and Ladles.- After Julio César Chávez's daughter was disqualified from the MasterChef Celebrity program, the former boxer announced that he will pay a friendly visit to the judges, "just to chat a bit and see what happened."

Following Nicky's surprising elimination, Julio himself contacted the organizers to request a meeting with the judges, seeking an explanation as to why they eliminated his beloved daughter from the culinary competition.

“I just want to chat… and if possible, ask you a few questions,” Chávez explained as he nostalgically wrapped a bandage around his hand.

Despite Nicky being one of the contestants who received the most criticism on social media for her limited culinary skills, Julio firmly believes she still had a lot to contribute to the show, and he wants to talk about that with those who made the decision to remove her.

If friendly dialogue doesn't yield results, the former world champion may try to reason with the jury using some other, undisclosed tactic, but one that could well make them reconsider their position... or even ask for a corner.

“Um… like I was saying, Nicky knows how to cook very well, and it’s not that she puts too much pepper on the salmon, it’s that she, um… uses a Nordic recipe,” explained a judge minutes after meeting with Julito, while adjusting an imaginary black eye.
