13-year-old Wiktor from Poland victim of brutal attack. Mother: bullied for two years
The story was reported by the Daily Mail. In an interview with the service, Ms Anna said that other teenagers attacked her son, a Year 9 pupil, by putting a plastic bag over his head and beating him. The brutal attack took place at Tredegar Comprehensive School in south Wales. Wiktor's mother reported the attacks to the police and the local council, which investigates complaints.

Gwent Police said they were investigating two reports of assaults and threats at the school on January 23 and February 7. Blaenau Gwent County Council said its schools had "robust" anti-bullying policies and were supporting police with their investigations.

"Tredegar Comprehensive School has well-established arrangements which actively encourage students, staff and parents to report any concerns they may have. The school continues to work closely with the family and the injured party and will support the police in their enquiries," it said in a statement.
