After 40 years, they sat down at school again

The Przeworsk high school has been through a lot over the past four decades, which did not escape the attention of its graduates, who left the school walls 40 years ago. The meeting after many years gathered a large group of them, including former teachers. Such occasions allow for a return to the past and recollection of joint trips, jokes and experiences from high school. This time was no different. Representatives of the class of 1985 eagerly reached down in memory, recalling the funniest moments from school life, former teachers and pre-high school emotions.

The ceremony began with a mass in the Collegiate Basilica of the Holy Spirit in Przeworsk, celebrated for the graduates, teachers and educators who have already passed away. After a liturgy full of contemplation, the ceremony moved to the school grounds, where the graduates had the opportunity to sit down at school benches again. The attendance list was also checked and a minute of silence was held to honor the memory of deceased colleagues. There was an opportunity to present former students with commemorative diplomas and small gifts by the school's director Krzysztof Dyrkacz, who, welcoming the guests, emphasized the special bond that still connects the school with its students. Bouquets of flowers were also given to former teachers present at the reunion - Aleksandra Mędzela, Władysława Skrzyszowska and Genowefa Wojtas. There was no shortage of artistic accents performed by current high school students, who prepared an artistic program for this special occasion.
