An unidentified object has fallen in a cornfield near the town of Osiny in Łuków County (Lublin Voivodeship). An explosion was previously suspected. A search is currently underway, reports Radio Lublin.
"At 2 a.m. today, we were notified that an explosion occurred near the town of Osiny. Police officers are currently on site checking the indicated area. We are securing the area. We have located the site where the explosion may have occurred, a currently unknown element," Staff Sergeant Marcin Józwik of the Łuków police told a local radio station.
An unknown object crashed into a field. Operation in OsinyRadio Lublin, citing the fire department, also reports that no one was injured. An unknown object fell into a cornfield.
Police are at the scene, investigating what may have led to the explosion.
