The officer on duty at the Suwałki police station received a report about a drunk Audi driver who had brought children to school. Traffic police officers immediately went to the scene and breathalyzed the man. The test result showed that the driver had over 3.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The man lost his driving license and will face court for his extremely irresponsible behavior. He faces up to 3 years in prison for driving while intoxicated. Additionally, the family court will be informed of the incident and the man will be held accountable for endangering children, which could result in a sentence of up to 5 years in prison.
Police appeal to drivers: if you've been drinking, don't drive! A drunk driver on the road is a potential threat to the lives of others. Drinking alcohol and driving can lead to tragic consequences. Let's avoid such situations to protect ourselves and others.
