He jumped from a mattress into the water on Lake Białe. The search for the 22-year-old has ended.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, around 7:00 PM. According to the report, the 22-year-old was swimming with friends at Lake Białe. He surfaced on a mattress. Unfortunately, when he decided to jump into the water, he did not resurface.

The wanted man was a resident of Żyrardów County. "The 22-year-old was found on a mattress in the middle of the lake. He jumped into the water from the mattress and swam to shore. The distance was approximately 50 meters. At some point, he disappeared from sight of his friends," Łukasz Rydzewski from the County Police Headquarters in Gostynin told "Fakt."

The rescue operation began immediately after the report was made. Lake Białe is quite deep, making it one of the largest bodies of water in the Mazovia region. Police, firefighters, and specialized rescue teams were called to the scene. Rescue teams, using sonar, searched for the missing 22-year-old for two days.

Sad news arrived on Saturday evening (August 15). Divers recovered the body of a missing man.

Police are urging people relaxing by the water to exercise extreme caution and prudence. "Even if the distance from shore seems short, conditions in the water can be treacherous," officers emphasize.

The lake search came to a surprising end. Friends were certain he had drowned.
