According to novinky.cz, videos have been appearing on social media since Sunday, August 17th. They show a bright red Formula car with a cigarette brand logo, among several other racing vehicles. There are reportedly dozens of videos. They show Formula cars driving from lane to lane on the highway at high speeds or stopping at a gas station. The Formula, with several accompanying race cars, traveled between Voznice, Dobříší, and Příbramí. The race cars' journey lasted several minutes.

She added that traffic officers are also examining recordings from social media and other media outlets. She indicated that the verification will include documenting the driver's offenses, such as the vehicle's technical condition while driving a vehicle not approved for use on public roads, third-party liability insurance for any damage caused by the vehicle, the absence of a highway vignette, and speeding.

It's unclear who is driving this formula. A Czech news outlet reports that this driver has been eluding investigators for several years. He first appeared on the D4 in 2019. The driver was tracked down by police but went unpunished. Because he was wearing a helmet, they couldn't prove he was actually driving the formula. It's unclear if it's the same driver this time, but comparing footage from 2019 and August, they appear to be almost identical, the Czech journalists note.

The portal novinky.cz reports that support vehicles appear around the Formula One every time the driver takes to the road. This was also the case in 2019 and 2023, when other cars appeared around the car. The journalists emphasize that a Formula One car is not allowed on a regular road. In addition to having no license plates, it is not equipped with lights, turn signals, or other features important for safe road traffic.
